May 2007-C618-Aloha, It’s hard to believe that we’ve been back from our trip to Maui for a little over a week now. We just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had. Thank you so much for the wonderful basket of treats that you sent us. We have never tasted pineapple so good. The condo had all the comforts of home. We absolutely loved sitting on the lanai every morning overlooking the ocean, and the evenings were just beautiful. We were very impressed at how well maintained the grounds were. It was a real treat to just walk down the driveway to the beach. Kathy, thank you so much for allowing us to check out later in the day. You have no idea how that eased things up at our end. We had so many wonderful experiences during our stay. Some of the highlights were the beautiful beaches, The Feast at Lele (on my birthday), a secretly planned massage and facial by Christian, shopping at Lahaina, watching the surfers at Ho’okipa. We ate some wonderful food. To name a few, Mama’s Fish House was outstanding, the local fare at Hana Hou cafe, Fish Tacos at Alexanders, and of course Shave Ice. I could go on and on, but I’d have to write a novel. Needless to say, we had a wonderful trip and we will be back.
