Nice Condo with a Pretty Good View!
My sister and I stayed two weeks in this well appointed condo. The kitchen was well stocked with all the usual necessities, perhaps only lacking a good sized salad bowl and a couple of minor utensils (paring knife and vegetable scraper). The king bed was extremely comfortable. The living room couch was new and comfortable for sitting (we did not use the sofa bed option). A second chair would have been useful when the couch was in use for the afternoon siesta! The view of the ocean from the lanai was pretty good, whales could be seen with binoculars, and it is just nice to “see the water”. The high table and high chairs make it easy to see over the railing, but they are not comfortable for dining or just sitting to read. Additional “too high” directors chairs were just useless … uncomfortable, awkward to access, too high for using at the table and essentially taking up space that could have been used for a lounge or some other low chair. A leaking kitchen faucet was noticed when we arrived was repaired promptly and professionally by the MauiVision maintenance staff. Overall the location to Kam II beach and to the shops and restaurants along South Kihei make this condo a great choice. A few corrections would make it 5 stars!
