"Great location in condo. Can park right by door. Beautiful views with whale watching opps. To access beach you have to leave property. Scorpions present so keep door shut. Waves can eclipse wall into grass at certain times of day so be careful when it's heavy. Very clean and quiet condo. Since it's location is the end of the row, seems like a few times of day people walk along the water and stop in front of sliders as they watch views so keep in mind they will also look inside. Overall good location, clean, would consider staying again."

"Fabulous stay right on the water (for us a bucket list item)! House has everything a family needs. Warm water pool. Access to beach. About 15-20 min drive to Kihei (groceries and restaurants etc). About 25 mins to Lahaina. About 15 to 20 mins to OGG airport. But if you are like us staying away from hustle bustle, you will like this place. We had a great time staying here. Communication was great with the condo caretakers. Late checkout with additional half a day charges. Will stay again!"

Maui Vision Note: Kanai A Nalu is centrally located and is direct oceanfront property on Maalaea Bay. Guests enjoy vibrant, gorgeous sunset skies but sunsets are seen more toward the north toward the direction of Lahaina. Guests do enjoy amazing and dramatic sunrises over Haleakala. The sun passes over the complex during the day. Depending on the time of year, seeing the actual sun during sunset does vary. "This condo is AMAZING!! It overlooks the ocean, and is just a few steps from the water. In the afternoons it was very common for us to see sea turtles swimming in the waves. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, allowing us to make our own breakfast (or any meal) at the condo. Every morning we woke up and drank our Hawaiian coffee staring at the beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise behind Haleakala. Perfectly located in my opinion, it's only a 15-20 minute drive from several different shopping areas and so many delicious places to eat! The condo was very clean, updated, and already had beach items for us to use (a nice touch that saved us on rental equipment). Our stay was MAGICAL!! Refreshing, Relaxing and Very Enjoyable. 
 
I loved the downstairs corner unit. It was quiet, peaceful and delightful. I woke up each morning with the beach, bluesky and sun in my eyes. A necessary break from cold Anchorage, Alaska. Two bathrooms was very useful. We had everything we needed, washer dryer, beach chairs and water toys, extra towels, and coffee pot. The entire condo is very nice. "Paradise. 12 steps away for ocean and 20 steps to beach which runs for over 4 miles straight and very quite . Watch whales sitting outside the apartment. You will practically live on the beach. Pool is perfect . Parking is always available outside the apartment . Great amenities- apartment has all the beach , surfing and snorkeling equipment. Lots of beach towels. Harbor is 5 minute drive for all sailing activities . Great restaurants nearby. Great neighbors. Very few people in the beach so you will have an almost private beach feeling . You will see occasional turtles swim past you . Will be back ."

Our first visit to Maui and it was so incredible! From the initial contact with Kathy and throughout our entire stay we felt welcomed and completely at home with everything. She ensured our trip was a fantastic one and was continually in contact with us regarding any questions we might have. 
 
The condo was perfect, it literally had everything we could possibly need and more! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities and utensils and the huge supply of beach gear was a definite plus we were not expecting. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable and we completely felt at home there. We loved the beautifully landscaped grounds and thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent there. The beach out front provided our first experience swimming with turtles and the large stretch of beach made for amazing sunrise walks each day.  
 
We especially appreciated the location of the condo in respect to the island itself. Having it centrally located allowed us to easily travel to other areas of the island and not be too far from it. 
 
I would without hesitation recommend unit 101 - we will definitely be returning to this lovely condo on the beach! - Cindy S.
