Kihei Akahi C 516 – Guest Stay January 2020

“The condo was exactly what we were looking for and expected based on the description and photos.  The hosts provide some thoughtful touches– such as a thoroughly-equipped kitchen, plush beach towels, and beach umbrella, chairs, etc.  The fifth-floor lanai is high enough to have a nice view of the ocean over the trees and rooftops.  Kihei Akahi is a large complex but is surprisingly peaceful and quiet (maybe it helps that our visit in January was after the little kids had gone back to school).  There’s a very friendly vibe on the grounds and a wonderful beach, Kamaole II, is direct across the street.  We have usually stayed in the Kaanapali-Kapalua area, but found Kihei to be a little more “down to earth.” It’s also quite a bit closer to the airport some other Maui attractions.” – George W.
