Welcome to Kana'i A Nalu a quiet resort that sits on the ocean away from the road. This complex sits directly on breathtaking Ma'alaea Bay. This setting is wonderful for romantic sunset strolls. For the more active person, there is a great beach to run on as you can do so for miles in peace away from the crowds. Just a short walk down the quiet, tree-lined street from Kana'i A Nalu is Haycraft Park, which leads to 4 miles of uninterrupted sand and surf all the way to the Sugar Beach area. If there is a big south swell, the wave of the harbor, "Freight Trains," can be one of the best in the world attracting expert surfers. Towards the east of Ma'alaea is a great spot for windsurfing, during both trade and Kona winds. This property is located less than a mile walking distance to Ma'alaea Harbor and it is centrally located on the island between South and West Maui. Three miles of quiet sandy beach will entice you to walk, run, or build sandcastles. The tropical water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, or windsurfing.
A short walk down the road will lead you to Ma'alaea Harbor with its great restaurants and shops, including the Five Star rated waterfront. Just steps away are the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, a putt-putt golf course, rock climbing wall, trampoline, and bumper boats. Fun for the entire family!
Enjoy amazing oceanfront views direct from your lanai. The lanai is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or tea as you watch the whales playing (December-March) or boats going in and out of the harbor. The oceanfront solar heated pool is set in a tropical landscaped courtyard that will inspire you to relax. If you're not into swimming there are plenty of lounge chairs for reading and sunning. There are charcoal barbecues and a gas grill for you to use.
This condo is 952 sq ft. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has twin beds that can convert to a king, and there is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. Both the master bathroom and second bathroom have stall showers. The second bathroom has a handheld shower wand. Both bathrooms have a blow dryer. There are t.v.'s in the master bedroom and living room with free basic cable programming for your enjoyment.
The kitchen is fully stocked with a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, and tea kettle. The unit includes a washer and dryer. Linens and towels are provided. There is a telephone for free local calls. FREE 5G (400 Mbps) high speed secure Wi-Fi Internet access for your laptop and other devices. Beach equipment is provided for your use including beach towels, cooler, umbrella, beach chairs and boogie boards.
There are five ceiling fans throughout this home in both bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room. The trade winds keep you comfortable. There are 2 split AC units in this lovely home just in case you need extra cooling.

Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.
* Every Maui Vision property listed is a non-smoking home; this includes the lanai (balcony) and hallways.
* There is a $200 fine for smoking. There is a designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building.
* Guest will be charged for extra cleaning or damage to the unit beyond normal wear and tear. NO SMOKING ALLOWED inside the unit or outside on the lanai or hallways. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

"We had an amazing time staying at this rental property. It is right off the beach which allows quick access to a local beach spot. There are several food spots and a marina within walking distance. This rental is within a 30 minute drive to most of the key locations across the island which is very convenient. The property had all the amenities we needed on the complex and within the rental unit. The balcony view was perfect every morning to watch the sunrise and at evenings for the sunset. The host is super responsive and helpful! Overall, great experience staying here!!!"

"We had the absolute best time at this condo.. Karen made sure everything was in top shape upon our arrival. The view is spectacular the pic does not do it justice. The only suggestion would be to have a tv in the guest suite and more space in the guest closet as it is full of beach items. Otherwise it's perfect! Mahalo and we hope to return one day!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The view from the lanai was just amazing! The condo was exactly as pictured, with ample parking and a fully stocked kitchen ready to cook some fresh caught island fish! The property was well kept, pool was perfect and the beach is literally steps away.
A big plus is there were beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and coolers to use!
Definitely a great place to stay!"

"This unit has been ones of the best and comfortable units that I have stayed. Waking up with the sounds of the ocean, swimming with the turtles, watching the sun's reflection on Haleakala were some of our daily routines. The unit was comfortably situated in between two main areas. We were also close to the airport, Maui Plantation, Kihei, Lahaina, Wailea. The closest market we found was Foodland, but Safeway is also close by. We also used the BBQ downstairs many nights and ate around the manicured lawn and the coconut trees.
We didn't have to use the AC as majority of the nights the temperature was on the cooler side but we used the fans almost all the time. The kitchen is fully equipped, even many unused products from the previous guests. You can't go wrong with this unit. Highly recommended."

"This is oceanfront right next to sugar beach. The building is well maintained but the apartment itself is maintained at the highest possible level. Everything is there - with spares- and the furniture and fixtures are a cut above normal "rental property" standard. The hosts are simply great- communicative, attentive etc. The building was full on our visit and the pool and common areas were busy- but they can handle it. The location is great for a first visit to Maui. You are central to the day trips you NEED to make (Hana, haleakala, Makena Beach, Iao Valley hike) but you don't face the traffic nightmare of the Lahaina/ Kapalua strip. And Kihei has a plenty of restaurant options. With all that said- the best thing about it is the way it is set up and supplied. The hosts GET IT and have thought of everything." - (Jan 2020 - VRBO)
