"The condo was beautiful, the location was convenient to most all of Maui. We were so happy with the condo, everything we needed was there, chairs for the beach, coolers, beach toys along with a fully functional kitchen. We cooked a couple of meals ourselves and found all utensils needed, I felt I was in my own home. The views were spectacular and the beach was just steps away. We stayed ten days and would rent this condo again in a heartbeat. I can't imagine finding anything better on the island. Lastly, loved the air conditioner."

"The views from this condo are absolutely amazing! The beach is a short walk right off the property. This condo is located in an area that is off the beaten path, but a short drive to either Lahaina or Kihea. My dad and I enjoyed just sitting on the patio and listening to the waves and breeze in the trees. The elevator made this a convenient way for my dad, who is 77 years old, to get to and from the condo. The pool is warm and clean and the other owners were so kind. 2 huge bbq's if you want to grill. You won't hear your neighbors as the walls are stone. The fans and A/C units work very well for cooling even on the 4th floor. Instructions were easy to follow and clear to gain entry and to turn everything off upon exit."

"When I look at a property, I first look at the view that we will have at the beginning and end of the day. This property has a great view of the bay and Haleakala, and the property is on the water. We saw turtles just outside the building. It is a quiet location unlike crowded Kaanapali or Lahaina. We also liked that it was in the middle of the island which was great for day excursions. We appreciated the beach chairs and cooler. They were used most days. The kitchen was also well stocked. The Tante Restaurant about a half mile away had a good variety of food. We ate outdoors and viewed the bay. Some reviews mentioned the lack of air conditioning but that was not an issue in February."

This condo was very well maintained and clean. The sunrise about Haleakala was breathtaking and enhanced by listening to the sounds of the waves while having breakfast on the lanai. The pool may have been small but the beach was right there! Who needs a pool. The A/C in the unit wasn't necessary as the constant wind in Maalaea kept the condo cool. "My family of 4 truly enjoyed this perfectly situated condo. We wanted to be centrally located on the island and this was perfect for us. The condo building itself provides a great family environment and the grounds are incredibly well kept and staff on the property are kind and helpful. We used the grill one night near the pool area and met friendly permanent residents of the condo that made us feel very welcomed. The condo unit itself was inviting and the items available for guest use makes for such a pleasant experience. Easy elevator access and very quiet at night. Everything worked great in the condo! We took advantage of nearby restaurants and even a visit to the Maui Aquarium. As other reviewers mentioned, the front guest room can get quite stuffy but fans provided helped a little bit. As we shared with the condo rental agency, just disappointed that during our visit beach erosion has occurred so we did not have immediate walkout beach access as we had hoped but alas we were busy enough with activities during our stay that we didn't focus on it but just wished that opportunity for our kids as was noted in pictures. But we understand this is nature. We would most definitely stay at this condo again if the opportunity presented itself and highly recommend it!" - Deborah S. 
 
Maui Vision Rentals Note: In all of our listings for Kanai A Nalu, we do mention beautiful Haycraft Beach Park which is a very short walk and right next door to Kanai A Nalu. There begins a long stretch of beach where one can run, walk and enjoy the surf and sand for miles. The photos we took for our listings were not manipulated and were the actual photos of the beach and complex in its normal state. Depending on the season and the wind and storm patterns on island, this will affect the beach being there and/or temporarily disappearing. "All amenities were there as promised and we especially enjoyed our time on the lanai watching the sea turtles swim. We were there with our 18 year old son so having the two bedrooms was great (we've learned it's best for everyone to have some "alone" time). The grilling area was really nice and the kitchen well stocked. And we appreciated the Maui guidebook that was there. It was very helpful during our trip.
